I don't think we've met...

Hello! My name is Mandy, or The Dixie Chicken. "Dixie" because I'm a southern girl and always will be, no matter where I live. "Chicken" because I've always been self-conscious about sharing my ideas with others. It makes my palms sweat... Really. But, I want to do it anyway! I have been an avid craft/photography blog reader for some time now. I love to make things, and I love sharing what I make with others. I learned most of what I know about sewing and crafting from people who blog about it. I learned about quilting from Gloria at the quilt shop where I used to live. I learned about photography from a course I took at a community college. I am a beginner at all of these things. I hope you will join me, especially if you're new to all this crafting/quilting/photography stuff. Maybe we can learn from each other.
