I'm a little quirky. I smile a lot. I also cry a lot. I love to be outside. I drive a Subaru. I try to take care of my body by working out and eating (relatively) healthy food. I love my God. I love other people, even though I'm a little shy at first. I love to make things. I don't wear much makeup. I'm an Auburn grad. War Eagle!
I started sewing in 2008 and quilting during the summer of 2009. In 2010, I started this blog. I use this space to write about what I'm sewing, share pictures, and interact with others who love creating things as much as I do.
What's with the blog title? Well, I'm from Alabama (Dixie) and I'm putting my work up on this blog, even though it makes me a little nervous (Chicken). You know, the fear of rejection. I've got it. Plus, I love the song.
