I just finished this baby quilt for a Winnie-the-Pooh-themed nursery.
I added some embroidery to give it a little something extra. You know Pooh can't be happy without honey bees! :)
I quilted it with diagonal straight lines, which I love with the half square triangles.
I tried a different kind of label this time. It's embroidered and hand appliqued in the bottom right corner.
I know this will be the perfect blanket for a precious baby boy!
Thanks for stopping by!
fabulous work! :)
ReplyDeleteCute quilt! I am really starting to like the pieced backing look. I'm trying a stacked coin baby quilt right now, and just got the material yesterday. I think I'm addicted to quilting! Love to see your quilts!
ReplyDeleteHi!!! I know this is a really old post, but I saw this quilt and it's my favorite subtle Winnie the pooh blanket. I am not a quilter, but am going to make one for our daughter who is expecting in Feb/March of 2022. I don't know if you could share some basics or the pattern?? Or where to get started. I used to sew when I was younger so that part is fine, but a pattern or even the dimensions of the pieces and finished quilt would be helpful. you are welcome to email me at heidi@crossfireranch.org Thank you so much. Blessings, Heidi
